I am incredibly happy with my purchase of Armaf Dunescape, which is an absolute banger of a release from the house. For anyone who loves the clean, blue, shower-gel vibe of YSL Y Eau de Parfum but wants a brighter, summer-ready twist, this fragrance hits the mark. It smells like a photorealistic hybrid of YSL Y and the sparkling luxury citrus of Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim. The scent opens with a vibrant, electric burst of crisp lemon, blood orange, mandarin, and bergamot, energized by a sharp kick of ginger oil, juniper, and sage. As it settles, a clean heart of green apple, airy ozonic accords, geranium, and cashmeran takes over, keeping it balanced and preventing the sweetness from ever becoming juvenile. The dry-down settles into a smooth, elegant, and comfortable base of dry amber, clean musk, and creamy sandalwood, making it an incredibly mass-appealing and safe daily driver. Performance is highly impressive for a fresh profile; as an Extrait de Parfum, it pushes past standard longevity to give a solid 7 to 8 hours on the skin, and even longer on clothes. While the projection is prominent for the first 1 to 2 hours, it dials back into a steady, clean scent bubble that remains highly noticeable without being overbearing or choking out a room.

Securing a bottle of this release was incredibly difficult, and Maple Prime deserves massive credit for being one of the very few retailers to actually have it available for sale. The price was highly competitive, and the product arrived 100% authentic and flawless—right down to the unique bottle design featuring real sand in the cap.

This is a combination of YSL EDP and LV Afternoon Swim. To my nose it leans more towards YSL EDP with the mint being the most obvious scent accord. If you've never liked mint I would try a decant before buying. I think it rocks. Again projection is good for such a freshie and longevity on my skin is beyond 5 hours. Bottle design is also pretty unique...who puts real sand in their bottle cap!

I definitely was expecting this fragrance purchase to be a solid one...and it definitely did not disappoint!! Armaf Dunescape is a wonderful citrus oriented scent on open that lasts into the dry down, effectively meshing with the woody and musk notes. Performance is solid!! Highly recommend it as a spring and summer wear!!
